The company also offers a great selection of security and safety sensors. The system is easy to set up and comes with a detailed instruction booklet. SimpliSafe's three year warranty is the best among DIY security systems, with most competitors only offering one year of coverage. If you want to control your SimpliSafe system with a smartphone, you can expect to pay about $25 a month, which is higher than average. This is disappointing considering SimpliSafe's smartphone app only offers limited functionality due to the fact you can't use the system with many smart home devices.
